It’s been a while since I shared my meal plan in here, hasn’t it?
I’m not sure if you follow me on my main blog, The Diary of a Frugal Family, but if you do then you might have read my life update post yesterday where I went into a bit of detail about where I’ve been and what my plans are for the future. I talked about this blog a little bit and basically, I plan to post on here more often going forward because I do need to get myself motivated a bit more when it comes to meal planning.
I’m still meal planning and still a huge fan of it but I feel like my meal plans have become a bit meh!
Basically, I’m stuck in a meal planning rut and each week I choose between about 10 recipes that I know my family will all like and stick to variations of them. This means that I can meal plan in my sleep but at the same time, it means that meal times are pretty boring these days so hopefully, sharing my plans on here and on Instagram will make me feel more accountable for shaking things up when it comes to meals.
So, here’s the first week’s plan….
As always (if you remember as far back as my last meal planning post) I’m not going to go into huge detail about every meal but I will try and share the recipes for everything that I cook at one point or another.
I don’t share the accompaniments that we serve with each meal but I have a freezer drawer filled with all sorts of frozen vegetables and I usually make things like sweet potato fries, slimming world chips, mash, salad and garlic bread. I also make HM flatbreads when I’m feeling particularly domesticated!
