As much as I love cooking food from scratch, there are times when a jar of ready made sauce is perfect for saving time and serving up a delicious meal so when I noticed that Morrisons had reduced the price of their Hunters Chicken sauce to 85p, I had a quick meal plan change in my head and bought that instead of the tin of coconut milk I was going to use to make chicken curry.
This isn’t a sponsored post or a review of the sauce by the way, I just happened to notice the price of it when I did my weekly Friday night shop! 😉
It was really easy to make:
- Wrap slices of bacon around chicken breasts and put each one in an oven proof dish.
- Then pour over the sauce and cook at around 200 c for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes sprinkle some grated cheese over the top and cook for another 20 – 25 minutes.
It’s gorgeous served with sweet potato fries and some garlic bread to scoop up the sauce.
